Painted Glass Vases
I found this awesome glass vase last year at a thrift store. I painted the inside rather than the outside in order to preserve that shiny glass exterior. It is great for decor but you cannot put water in it. I don’t have the patience for fresh flowers anyway.
While I was searching for treasures at Goodwill I found an identical vase. Hooray!! I could now have a set. I wanted a diferent color than the other vase, but still something bright. I decided to go with the stunningly pretty blue oil based paint that I snagged from my local landfill. If you missed my last post about getting paint from the landfill, let me catch you up. They let you take any paint that people have stopped off for free. It saves them from having to pay to dispose of it properly.
Anyway, this is such a quick and easy project. Clean your vase, pour in paint and swirl it around until it is coated completely. Bam. Done.
I am just in love with this! You can do it with any glass vase, no matter the shape. Large and small, they will all look fantastic!
